Everything stays on your device.
This note describes LangPepp as it works today. It is not yet a formal privacy policy. Pingo Creative Technology will publish that policy on this page before the site goes live.
The add-on and the app
- The word lists, the picking and the pronunciation scoring run on your device.
- There is no account.
- No text, history or audio leaves the device.
- It works offline after the first download.
- The microphone is used only while you are recording. You can switch it off completely.
- A recording is not kept after the Word Card closes, and it is not uploaded.
- If Firefox on Android opens the LangPepp app for a word, only that word travels. No page, no history, no account.
- The add-on and the app each keep their own record on their own device.
This website
This marketing site is a static set of pages. It sets no cookies, it has no account, and it does not embed analytics. Store links and a contact address are not published yet.
When a formal policy is ready, it will live at this address and will say who to write to if you have a question about your information.
